WatchMayor Bloomberg’s appearance on Conan O’Brien last night. This is funny to me because Conan O’Brien is very tall and Michael Bloomberg is very short. Because the camera’s height is set to match Conan’s, this effect is exaggerated, making it appear as though New York were ruled by a tiny little gnome who brings keys as gifts for giants.

WatchThis interview with Roger Ebert is incredible. He’s survived thyroid cancer, but part of his jaw had to be removed, and he now speaks using a computerized speech synthesizer. Despite this, he still writes five to six movie reviews a week, and his upbeat attitude is totally infectious. What a fucking champ — I love this guy.
