Hardly Working: Most Retro Video Game System Ever

New Hardly Working! I wrote this based on my true, actual life: My first video game system and home computer growing up was an Atari 800XL from 1983 that my grandfather found in a dumpster and fixed up for me. Despite it being almost a decade out of date, I spent hours in my basement with it, learning to program BASIC and playing some of the world’s worst video games, some of which weren’t much more advanced than the Skaris.

Featuring Owen Parsons and Marina Cockenberg. Shot by Brendan Banks and edited by Sam Jacobson. The incredibly funny low-bit music is by Jesse Novak; the CD and retro game cover images were created by Ben Kling

The fact that it says “video not compatible” on my iPhone is pretty funny.
